First meet up with you - 29 Nov'09

Our first gynae visit with Dr Low Chin Soon at Adventist Hospital was on the last Sunday of the month. After some Q&A by the doctor, he then proceed with ultrasound scan to confirm that mummy is having you inside me.

This is your first baby photo. Sooooo small..only 1.5cm and 8wks old. Amazingly mummy and daddy can see your heart pumping when looking at monitor during ultrasound although at this tiny size. The doctor also let us hear your heartbeat. Life is such an amazing thing!! We were very happy to get to see you for the first time and also confirmed that we finally successfully conceived you. Bravo! Estimated due date for you to be born is 11 July. How I wish you can be a LEO too, same as mummy and LEO is good...tough, independent and sensitive.

2nd Attempt

Since our first test in Bali was negative using Guardian brand test strip, we decided to get a better quality tester by ClearBlue and retest again a week later that was about 2wks after my PMS due date since normally my cycle is not accurate. We purposely chose a memorable day to do it..that was our 1st Wedding Anniversary. I woke up early in the morning while daddy was still sleeping trying to read the instructions of the tester. Finally decided to wake daddy up to let him join in the fun and excitement. And..YES!! It's POSITIVE this time! Yippee! We were both so happy, so we shared the news with your grandparents. They looked calm and probably not very convinced by the results from the test strip because there is no such thing as test strip during their time..so probably they are only convinced if verified positive by a gynae. We then started to make appointment for our first visit with a gynae in Adventist Hospital.

Bali Trip (24Oct'09) - 1st Attempt

Mummy and daddy was having our 2nd honeymoon cum anniversary vacation at Bali from 20-24Oct'09. On 22nd, we were staying at Melia Bali hotel at Nusa Dua area. It was a very grand and beautiful hotel. We decided to check it out for the first time to see we successfully conceive you. We were excited as it was our first time using the DIY tester we bought from a pharmacy at P.Tikus. Mummy was a bit disappointed when the result came out negative. Since I wasn't preggie, daddy gave me a spa treat at the hotel. It was our first time having spa together. We had fun and the overall trip was very nice, romantic and a very MEMORABLE too especially when we missed the flight and had to go thru all the hassle to catch another flight the next day.

The plan of having YOU

Mummy and daddy thought it's time to have you in our lives! I am sure grandmas and grandpa will be excited too. Our wedding dinner was on 13th June and the wedding ceremony on 14th June'2009. The next day we headed for our honeymoon in Paris and Prague for a total of 3wks. Daddy said we should give ourselves some time to rest after all the wedding preparations. That's why we decided you should not be made in Europe!!

It's in September that we decided to try starting to have you. We researched about pregnancy and the timing to conceive. They we execute the plan very diligently.
